Another decorative aspect of the pool is in the choice of the type of crown or top end of the pool:  the upper edge of the vertical walls of the pool. This will come to a greater or lesser extent selected depending on the type of pool (whether it is the traditional type or the overflowing type, for example). In traditional pools, a finishing piece is usually placed with a rounded inner edge. There are different materials, although the most used is the artificial crowning stone.
